This issue typically occurs in the new academic year and results in students remaining in their old class groups in Schoolcomms. This has been found in the past to be a SIMS issue with the group memberships and can be resolved by running Validate Memberships in SIMS.
- To update the members we recommend that in SIMS you navigate to Tools > Validate Memberships in SIMS and complete the routine ( Please check with your SIMS Support before running the Validate Memberships routine to ensure there are no implications of doing so).
- Once complete, launch Schoolcomms and run an import - you should find that the group memberships in Schoolcomms will then be correct.
