RM Integris data requirements

To successfully import contact details, message contacts within Schoolcomms and for parents to access School Gateway, you will need the following data in RM Integris:

  • Schoolcomms will import from the “Mobile Phone” and “Email Address” fields.
  • “Emergency ranking” = priority.
  • Parental Responsibility must be ticked.

Editing a parent’s contact details

  • When editing a parent’s contact details, RM Integris allows you to add multiple mobile numbers - Schoolcomms will import the one set as mobile.
  • There are 3 types of Email addresses - Work, Personal and Other - Schoolcomms imports any of these.
  • If there are multiple email addresses, Schoolcomms will import whichever is marked as Default.

For students

  • RM Integris allows students to have multiple mobile numbers - in which case, Schoolcomms will import the one set as mobile.
  • There are 3 types of Email addresses - Work, Personal and Other - Schoolcomms imports any of these.
  • If there are multiple email addresses, Schoolcomms will import whichever is marked as Default.

For Staff

  • RM Integris allows staff members to have multiple mobile numbers - in which case, Schoolcomms will import the one set as mobile.
  • There are 3 types of Email addresses - Work, Personal and Other - Schoolcomms imports any of these.
  • If there are multiple email addresses, Schoolcomms will import whichever is marked as Default.

Staff roles

  • If the staff Business Role in RM Integris contains the word “Teacher”, the member will be placed into the MIS: Staff - Teacher (Schoolcomms created) group.
  • Any other roles will place the staff member into the MIS: Staff - Support Staff (Schoolcomms created) group.

Your import settings determine the contacts and data that are imported from your MIS database.

To review your Schoolcomms Import Settings go to Dashboard > Import Management > Edit settings.
