We recommend using the staff groups with the "(Schoolcomms created)" suffixes, to ensure up-to-date allocation of staff members:

The groups MIS: Staff - Support Staff (Schoolcomms created) and MIS: Staff - Teacher (Schoolcomms created) are populated depending on the staff members' SIMS records.
The 'staff role' is determined by the information held within the classroom staff details of the staff member's SIMS record. If no role is selected, then the staff member will display as Support Staff. An import will need to be run in Schoolcomms to update any changes that have been made in SIMS. - The groups MIS: Staff - Governor (Schoolcomms created) and MIS: Staff - Other (Schoolcomms created) are populated by members manually-added into Schoolcomms with the roles of Governor and Other respectively, when a subsequent import is run.
