Summary returns general (Report 05)

The Summary returns general report shows the total meals that have been taken with a breakdown of charges and payment sources.

  This article will teach you...

How to locate and open the Summary returns general (Report 05) report.

This report will show the number of meals taken in the period by consumer type (pupil, staff, etc), along with the total billed value, value offset by an allowance (such as FSM), and any VAT element that is applicable.

It also provides a summary of the income broken down by source (cash, ParentPay, PayPoint, etc.).

You are also able to run a more detailed version of the report that breaks these values down to week periods within the defined period, giving you greater granularity should this be useful.

NOTE

With the introduction of London Free School Meals there will be an additional column, row, or table that will be displayed in meal reports for eligible schools.

  • If you fall outside of the London catchment the columns, rows or additional tables will not display.
  • If you are inside the eligible London catchment, and have the entitlement enabled, LFSM will be populated for all junior (KS2) year groups while UiFSM will continue to display Infant (KS1) year groups.
