Register a parent for a School Gateway account

To register a parent on their behalf:

  • Click here to access the School Gateway registration screen to register a parent.
  • Input the email address and mobile number showing against them in Schoolcomms > Dashboard > Linked People. 
  • The parent will then receive a new PIN via text.

You can use the Registered Users Report to review and identify any gaps in data currently imported into Schoolcomms.

The report provides you with an overview for each contact being imported including email addresses and mobile numbers, you can also see if Parental Responsibility is ticked which is necessary for some School Gateway functionality, such as lunch money balances, club balances, providing consent, etc.
