Menus - Theme Days
When setting up Menus you can create a Theme menu for one day only, as opposed to the Lunch category which is used to set up a menu for all five weekdays
Important: Menu templates for students with Dietary Requirements and Allergies remain active if a Theme day menu is applied to a site/area, making it possible for these students to keep their Special Menu items.
Go to Menus > Menus [1] > Theme Days [2] > right mouse click to select Add Theme Day [3]
When creating a new Theme day give it a Description [1] that is easy to identify (e.g. Sports day).
Set the Item types [2] for the Theme day. This defaults with Main and Desert pre-selected. You can decide weather to include Vegetables, Drinks and Other items by click the check-boxes.
Set the Available areas [3] by clicking on the checkbox for an area, you can select more than one. Then click Save [4] when done.

Sites - Theme Days Calendar
When you have created a theme day you can use it by adding it to the Sites calendar for the day the caterer's will prepare and cook the theme menu.
Go to Menus > Sites > select a Site [1]
You can drag and drop a Theme menu [2] from the Theme Days [3] list onto the calendar and click Save [4].
TIP You can drag and drop multiple Theme Days onto the calendar.
