In Menus a colour picker has been added to make a wider range of colours available for menu item sub-types. Existing Menu Item sub types with colours assigned will not change with this update. The colours applied to Menu Item sub-types are also displayed on the Whiteboard.

How to change Menu Item sub-types colours
Adding Menu Item Sub-Types
- Navigate to Menus > Admin.
- Select Menu Item Sub Types [1].
- Click Add [2].
- Enter a Description [3], Menu Item-Sub Types descriptions have a limit of 30 characters.
- Assign a unique colour to the Menu Sub Type using the Colour Picker [4]. To view available colours, enable the Colour Checkbox. If a custom subtype is deleted, it will revert to the default colour
- To select a colour, drag the black circle within the Colour Range [5] or use the Colour Slider [6].
- For precise shades, enter a Hex Number [7], which will apply the selected color automatically.
- Click Select [8] to confirm your choice. Please note If a custom subtype is deleted it will use the default colour.
- Once you’ve finished configuring, click Save [9].
- Previous and newly created Sub-Types will now appear within the Sub-Type Column [10] within Admin > Menu Item Sub Types.
Applying a Menu Item Sub Type
- Navigate to Menus > Items.
- Open the Relevant Stock Item [1].
- Open the Details Tab [2] and select the Sub-Type [3] drop-down menu.
- Opening the Sub Type Dropdown will show all available Menu Item Sub-Types which can be assigned to the stock item.
