Recording staff members as long-term absent

In the event a member of staff is signed off as long-term absent, the Administrator can set up a timesheet record for long-term absence to be automatically populated in timesheets on the Desktop and Tablet.

Go to Staff > Staff > select a member of staff > Edit Staff window Staff tab [1] > set the Status [2] to Absent or Long-term absent

The Absent and Long-term absent status will automatically populate the staff member's hours as 0 on the timesheets. The staff members hours will be recorded as 'Absent time' after the Unit Manager syncs the tablet in the morning.

NOTE: This change to a Staff member's status is recorded in the event log.
