How to record staff members as long-term absent.
Navigate to Staff > Staff.
Select the Relevant Staff Member [1] and under the Staff Tab [2] set the Status [3] to Absent [4].
Select Save [5].
IMPORTANT
This change to a Staff member's status is recorded in the event log. The Absent status will automatically populate the staff member's hours as 0 on the timesheets. The staff members' hours will be recorded as 'Absent time' after the Unit Manager syncs the tablet in the morning
