This means you will need to locate your SIMS.net folder so MIS Sync can extract the details from SIMS to upload the pupil data. You would need to do the following on MIS Sync:
1. Click on Tools > settings > SIMS
2. Where it says MIS username MIS Password, you need to enter in your SIMS username and password and NOT the ParentPay username/password
3. Once entered, click the yellow folder and it locate the SIMS.net folder (this should open and try to locate your SIMS.net folder location.
4. Once you see the SIMS.net folder, click Test these Settings which should say, connection test was successful, then Save.
5. Now close MIS Sync, log back in then click on Pupils > Auto update.
If you still get the same error could not locate SIMS with your current settings, this means that you have not selected the correct SIMS.net location. This would be something you would need to speak to your IT team about.
In order to use MIS Sync and SIMS, the user needs to have the following in SIMS:
3rd party reporting rights in SIMS and their access must be admin or higher which could be the reason they cannot locate the SIMS.net folder.
