If a parent/contact has forgotten their PIN they can request a new PIN via the School Gateway login screen by clicking on Forgotten your PIN?.
They will then need to input the contact details you hold for them and they will then receive a new PIN on a text.
You can also reset the pin for the parent/contact from within Schoolcomms.
To do this click on:
- Dashboard
- Click on Linked People
- Search the contacts name and click on it
- If the contact has activated a School Gateway account there will be the option to Reset PIN on the right-hand side menu. This will trigger a text message to be sent to the parent containing a new 4-digit pin number. (If they haven't activated the School Gateway account the Reset PIN option will not be visible)
