Go to Staff > Admin > Configure  > tick Timesheet hours require approval  to allow Admin and Manager users to approve staff timesheets.
NOTE Staff timesheet approval features are only applicable at site level
When enabled click Save  for the following additional filters to appear in Staff > Timesheets:
- Period – users can view timesheet records by day, Daily, or for a week, Weekly. When selecting Weekly, a date column will be visible to the right of the Payroll No. in the timesheet grid.
- Approved – users can filter timesheets records by approved status: All, Yes, No
- Approve Staff Hours – users can bulk approve All Hours, Contract Hours or Absence/Overtime Hours
