IMPORTANT
The following section can only be performed by Admin users.
- Navigate to System > Sites
- Select the Relevant Site [1].
- A new window will now open, click on the Meal Selection Tab [2] and make sure to tick-in Allow Admins To Void Meal Transactions [3] checkbox in the Configure Section.
- Click Save to update the site settings.
- By default, the Payments cannot be deleted function is enabled, this can only be changed by Cypad support. The Void Transaction button will be available for School Admin users when the combination of the following settings is in place:
- Payments cannot be deleted function is not enabled and the Allow admins to void meal transactions is not enabled
- Payments cannot be deleted function is not enabled and the Allow admins to void meal transactions is enabled
- Payments cannot be deleted function is not enabled and the Allow admins to void meal transactions is enabled
- The Void transaction button will not be available when the combination of the following settings is in place: The Payments cannot be deleted function is enabled and the Allow admins to void meal transactions is not enabled.
Voiding Student Meal Records
- Navigate to Payments > Transactions.
- Find the Relevant Student [1] and click on the Student Balance [2].
- Find the required Meal Record [3] and right-click on the record to display the Void Transaction [4] option.
- A warning message will now appear, if you click Yes [5], the Meal Transaction is displayed as void and the Current Balance will be updated, this action can not be reversed

- The meal record will now appear like this within the student's record:
Syncing Tablet Automatically Voids Duplicate Meal Records
Syncing the tablet will now void any recorded duplicate meals, the removal will remove/ignore the duplicates before a parent is charged.
Enabling Void Meals Functionality
- Navigate to Systems > Sites.
- Select the Relevant Site [1].
- Open Meal Selection Tab [2].
- Enable the 'Allow admins to void meal transactions' Checkbox [3].
- Click Save [4].

Voiding Student Meals Records
- Navigate to Meals > Meals.
- Locate the Relevant Student [1].
- Click on the Student Balance [2].
- Locate the Relevant Meal Record [3].
- Click the Bin Icon [4].
- Click Yes [5].
- Voided Meal Records [6] will now appear with a blue background.
