Dual Tablet Pairing

The cook can use 2 Bluetooth paired tablets to confirm a student’s attendance in the canteen, their meal selection and the collection of their meal. Ideally, the students will have pre-selected meals logged which have been done on the morning Whiteboard or by a parent.

How to set up and use the dual tablet mode.

Pairing Tablets for the first time

  1. In the Meal Register app press the tip right Menu and select the Cook Mode [1] option for the Cook's tablet and the Student Mode [2] for the Student Tablet.mceclip0.png
  2. Bluetooth will ask for permission to be enabled, press Allow [3] on the Cook's tablet and Yes [4] on the Student's tablet to start the sync process.mceclip3.png
  3. You will then get a pairing request on both tablets. Press Allow on both tablets to continue the sync.
  4. On the Student's tablet Select [6] the other device identified on the Bluetooth scan.
  5. Complete the pairing process by confirming the Pairing request code [7] is correct by pressing OK [8]
  6. Bluetooth will ask for permission to sync. Press Yes to start the sync process.mceclip7.png
  7. The tablet will search for, and sync to the Cook’s tablet.

Auto Reconnection

If Both devices disconnect from each other, they will try reconnecting automatically. Please wait until the alert shows on the devices. Only the Master device (Kitchen) has the option to Cancel the re-connection.
