How to access Site Settings and turn on the Add Deliveries to Stock feature.
- Navigate to Kitchen Manager > Sites
- Select the Relevant Site [1] to load the site settings.
- Click on the Kitchen tab [2] and click the Add deliveries to stock [3] check box.
- Click Save [4].
- When the Add Deliveries to Stock feature is enabled, all stock items marked as delivered via Orders/Deliveries are automatically added to the current In stock value.
- Performing monthly stock takes gives managers an accurate picture of the value and volume of stock on-site at any given time. This can be done by selecting the site/group of sites in Kitchen Manager > Stock area and selecting the Now period.
NOTE
The usefulness of this feature diminishes if stock takes are not conducted regularly. The In stock value will only increase as new deliveries arrive, and won't be reset until the next stock take is completed.
