Staff can use PIN codes in both the Attendance and Staff apps. They first log in with a PIN set by Cypad and can then set their own PIN in the Attendance app. This links all activity to the user, creating an audit trail for tracking.

How to use the Staff PIN.
Entering Staff PIN on the Tablet
IMPORTANT
This process is entirely dependent on your site configuration details. You may find your staff will not have to enter a PIN Code. If you do, Staff PINs are provided by your administrator.
- After logging into the Attendance or Staff App for the first time, you'll see the On-Screen Keypad [1] to enter your provided Staff PIN.
- Once the relevant information has been entered, press Ok [2].
- If you require a PIN Code to be changed, please refer to the Changing PIN Code section.
Changing PIN Code
IMPORTANT
If your old PIN has three or four digits, please create a new PIN with the same number of digits. Sequences like "0000" or "1234" are not allowed.
- Press Change PIN [1].
- Enter the previously assigned Staff PIN within the Old PIN Field [2].
- Enter a memorable number in the New PIN field [3], which the staff member will use in the future.
- Select OK [4] to save your changes.
