How to complete a stocktake.
Accessing Stocktake
Open Kitchen Manager and select Stocktake [1].
Completing a Stocktake
Opening Stocktake will display a list of all previously recorded Stock Items separated into their respective Categories.
Select the Drop-Down Arrow [1] to expand the categories and view the Individual Stock Items and Pricing [2].
The Search Bar [3] can be used to filter out Stock Items via Name.
If the user has completed a previous Stocktake, then the data will appear within the Old Cell [4]. This data will be pulled from the values entered during the previous Stocktake.
To enter new values for the Stock Item select the Empty New Cell [5].
Using the On-Screen Keyboard [6] enter the required quantity and press Ok [7].
The newly entered value will now appear in the New Cell [8].
The previous Stocktake Value and New Value [9] can also be viewed upon entry of the stock value.
IMPORTANT
Value for the new stocktake can be found within the brackets. i.e. (£92.80) and the old value is located just to the left. Stock items that do not match the previous records will be displayed as a blue record, if they match the stock item will appear green.
Signing Off a Stocktake
Located in the top right corner select the 3 Dots and select Complete Stocktake [10].
A prompt will appear asking the user to confirm they want to finish the Stocktake. Press Yes [11] and proceed with the Stocktake.
The tablet will automatically start Syncing and all data will then be transferred over to the Cypad Desktop which the admin can access.
After the sync has finished, new stock quantities will appear in the Old Column [12].
IMPORTANT
When you do a stock transfer on the tablet it automatically updates the stocktake value outside the brackets (the Now value on the Desktop).
