How to enable UFSM allowance by year group.
NOTE
For more information on the different FSM Acronyms please see What is Universal Free School Meals.
Within Cypad Meal Solutions you will need to switch on the UFSM Allowance for each relevant year group. For some customers this process will be automatically configured, please see the below guidance for your specific case.
IMPORTANT
If you add new year groups within your Payment System (e.g. ParentPay or Schoolcomms) you will need to ensure these are also enabled for UFSM where relevant.
Navigate to Payments > Admin.
The Years page in Payments Admin can be used to enable UFSM for the Year groups that are entitled to receive a free school meal at lunchtime under the UFSM program.
- Go to Payments > Admin and click the Years [1] option.
- Click a Year group [2] in the table to open the Year Details
- Click the UISFM checkbox [3] then the Save [4] button.
IMPORTANT
Within Cypad Meal Solutions the UIFSM is defined by a universal FSM Allowance, for more information on how to set this up please see Meal Manager FSM Allowance or Meal Selection FSM Allowance.
For London and Welsh schools, a member of the support team will have applied this automatically based on your location. If this has been done incorrectly or you have been missed contact Support immediately.
For all other regions Please contact the support team to enable the UIFSM Flag for your requested Year Groups.
