What custom/user defined SIMS groups can you import into Schoolcomms?

Alongside class/year groups etc., you are also able to import custom groups into Schoolcomms from SIMS, including the following:

  • User-defined groups

  • Assessment-defined groups

  • Discover groups

 Troubleshooting

  1. If these groups are not importing, please ensure the Schoolcomms user running the import has either the Class Teacher or Pastoral Manager SIMS permissions groups.

  2. Ensure there is at least one member in the group with a current membership.

  3. If your import settings are set to only import Active groups from SIMS, ensure the group in question is marked as Active in SIMS.
