Why is a parents mobile number missing in Schoolcomms (SIMS)?

If a parent's mobile number is not importing across to Schoolcomms, in SIMS please check that:

  • The mobile number is in section 5, Family and Home of the student's record, in the correct parent's record.
  • The location of the mobile number is marked as Mobile.
  • The parent needs to have a priority that you are importing.

Note

If you make any changes to a contact or student's record in SIMS you will need to run the import in Schoolcomms to bring the changes across.

You can check the mobile number has imported successfully by going to:

  • Dashboard
  • Linked people
  • Search the parents name and click on it, you will then see the parent/carers contact data
