System - Admin - Data Retention

Students and Staff who are no longer needed on Cypad will automatically be anonymized once marked as Closed. You can set the minimum and maximum period student, staff and any Allergy/Diet Notes data stays on the system before it is deleted permanently.

How to set a minimum and maximum student data retention period.

Setting Data Retention Periods

  1. Navigate to System > Admin.
  2. Within the Admin Menu, click Retention Period [1].
  3. Enter Student and Allergy Data Retention Period [2].
  4. Enter User Data Retention Period [3].
  5. Enter Staff Data Retention Period [4].
  6. Click Save.

Please note the minimum number you can enter is 365 and the Maximum is 5000.
